TEMPUS: National Education Framework for Enhancing IT Students’ Innovation and Entrepreneurship
Wider Objective of the project
The overall objectives of this project are to promote the synergy between academic programs, research expertise and businesses innovation in Ukraine. This will be achieved by instantiation of the knowledge triangle with emphasis on a student-centered structure based on innovation and entrepreneurship.
Specific Objectives of the project
The specific objective of this structural measure project is to promote the synergy between academic programs, research
expertise and businesses in Ukraine. This can be achieved by instantiation of the knowledge triangle with emphasis on a
student-centered structure based on innovation and enterpreneurship. The goals to be achieved with this project are:
- Identification of the best models and frameworks for university – company cooperation.
- Development of an infrastructure that enables the sustainability of a new ecosystem of university-company
cooperation. - Development of a web portal called Virtual Innovative Space to maintain contacts between students, companies and
universities as well as to enable knowledge transfer between the actors. - To influence the national standard for IT education in Ukraine.
- To develop and deliver new course on innovation and entrepreneurship for Ukrainian staff and students.
Project progress
1. Innovation and entrepreneurship power in Ukrainian Universities.
2. Guidelines for solutions and support of Knowledge triangle at a national level.
3. Eco-system building for students' innovation and entrepreneurship.
4. IT services for students innovation and entrepreneurship.
5. National standard for Innovation and Entrepreneurship in IT master education.
6. Innovation in action: Knowledge transfer pilot activities.
Projects for intercoaching
1. Boosting the Knowledge Triangle by Establishing Innovation Offices in Ukrainian Higher Educational Institutions
Purpose and objective of the project:
- To sustainably strengthen strategic, managerial and administrative capacities of 6 Ukrainian universities in identifying, managing and generating value from their intangible assets.
- Enhancing participation in cooperative research activities, through implementation of a series of targeted capacity building measures.
- Promote the Innovation culture within Ukrainian Higher Education Institutions through the establishment and implementation of innovation offices and innovation support services.
2. Innovation cross-university network for development of partnership with enterprises
Purpose and objective of the project:
The specific project objective is to create the innovation cross-universities network at Russian, Ukrainian, Belarusian and Azerbaijani partner Universities to establish an effective system for partnership with regional enterprises from energy sector of industry and start to transfer Universities technologies into the market by December 2012
Expected results:
- 120 representatives (trainers) from the partner Universities retrained
- 10 students (tranees) from the partner Universities retrained
- New innovation cross-universities network is in operation
- 3 technological fairs are organized
- 1 new training program "Technology Transfer Management" for reseachers and inventors of the partner Universities is completed
- 3 training workshops for the partner Universities staff
- 2 Summer School for the partner Universities staff
- 4 PhD students from the partner Universities are study in the frame of the new exchange program
- 6 methodological seminars are arranged
- 230 researchers and inventors (tranees) from the partner Universities take part in the methodological seminars
- 1 dissemination conference for the partner Universities and enterprises representatives is organized
